We had a FABULOUS party to celebrate Madelyn's first birthday. Many of our friends & family joined us to celebrate. Grandma Suzie made the adorable butterfly smash cake, Cassie decorated the cakes for the rest of us, and managed to take pictures (along with Maribeth). Madelyn spent most of the party attached to me, she is certainly a mommy's girl. In lieu of gifts we asked Madelyn's guests to bring infant/toddler donations for Children's Hospital of Denver (more details coming in the next post, but this was truly an overwhelming experience, and a perfect was to celebrate Madelyn turning one!)
