Madelyn's 4 1/2 Birthday Party (aka Mommy Fail!)

Since I failed to set up a birthday party for Madelyn when she turned four, and she kept mentioning we hadn't had a party yet, we decided to do a 4 1/2 birthday party (as it didn't appear I was going to get off the hook!) She wanted to have it at "Vivi" pool, so that is precisely what we did.

As it turned out....four and a half was the perfect party age for Madelyn!

Mady hasn't particularly cared for being the center of attention at a birthday party... but this time she really really enjoyed it. She is certainly growing up! Thank you to our friends who didn't give this mama too much grief for not celebrating sooner!

Members Night at the Museum

After soccer practice we headed over to the Museum of Nat,re & Science for members night. The girls had fun running from exhibits to exhibit and collecting stamps at various stations around the museum. Some favorites were checking out the full moon, the marble wall in the kids exhibit, the gem exhibit, the space exhibit, but the absolute hightlight was the "live" dinosuar!
