Trick or Treat

Avery as Avery, Vivi as a cupcake, Leah as Rapunzel, Annabelle as Fancy Nancy

Unfortunately Madelyn (who was supposed to be an adorable fish) was under the weather.... she wasn't interested in participating in the parade, or putting on her costume. By the time we were 3 house down the block, she had fallen asleep in the stroller. It was a bummer, because I think she would have really loved it. Oh well, there is always next year...

Halloween Parade

All the girls lining up in the hallway!

Anderson Farms

Since Avery decided to change things up with an indoor birthday party, we had to plan a separate adventure to Anderson's farm. The Turbow's have always covered our admissions (as part of the birthday festivities,) and Scott couldn't believe what a racket it is to go to the pumpkin patch!!! HA. Memories dear husband... memories.
And yes, pony rides are extra! But that smile...how can you resist!

These two are starting to develop a friendship and it is simply adorable! Love this picture!
Snacks on the hay ride back to the barn...
Love this shot of Avery!
Oh boy is Daddy funny!
Avery...think about a farm birthday next year! Anderson Farms is even more fun when your parents foot the bill!

WOW - No School

The girls had the day off, so we decided to make a day of it at WOW children's museum. I loved that they saw, and I mean really saw totally different things then they did the last time we were there, a year ago. Starting with the market (a Whole Foods, of course! This is Boulder County people!) Annabelle shopped, and Mady put on an apron & patiently waited to check her out! The scanner was a huge hit!!!

Then it was the wind tunnel room, where you can make scarves fly! This was 30 minutes of giggles and fun! I was lying on the floor to capture these shots...
And then the pirate ship, which has been a hit in the past, but they didn't play on the ship, rather they found the fish tank, which they haven't taken notice of during prior visits.
And then there was the drive-up bank! Oh my! Mady ran back and forth between the stations! Too bad I didn't have a video, it was hilarious!
But of course, one oldie, but goodie made for some excellent entertainment!

Back to Swimming: Madelyn Graduates to the Preschool class!!

Back in the Spring, Lauren (the head swim instructor) was ready to see how Mady would do in the Preschool class (i.e. no more parent-tot!!), however we weren't signing up for the Summer session. When I ran into the director over the summer, and mentioned signing up Mady for Preschool, she immediately said "how old will she be in Oct?" well, she will be 2 1/2. "Nope, we don't move anyone up until 3." Oh, Lauren mentioned moving her up back in May, "Oh, so she is one of those!!!!" Yes, I believe she might be one of those...

Here is my 2 1/2 year old in the Preschool class (shhh..don't tell!)

She loved every minute of it!!

Back to Swimming Lessons: Annabelle & Avery up first

Annabelle & Madelyn have been begging to take swimming lessons again! We take the summer off, because the pool is a therapy pool, and it is miserably hot in the summer. Well fall session started so we are back to the pool, and the girls couldn't be more pleased.

Race for Education 2012

For the Preschool, rather than a race, they make an obstacle course for the kids

First Mady's Class
Scott had to do the course with her... no action photos!
And then some race veterans, Annabelle's class!
